Supported by Save the Children AMNet facilitates community education on the disease and its prevention through Tribal Heads, Mammy Queens, Youth and Children groups in Freetown. We identify and train community volunteers to support in the education, monitoring and making of appropriate referrals. We encourage twelve communities to inculcate and maintain regular hand washing.
Furthermore AMNet is also part of the Ebola Response Committee with focus on child protection in emergencies.
